FOUNDATION BASE- HOW, WHICH, WHAT TO BUY?

 

Being my second beauty blog. I hope, to cover certain things what have not been written or told about. Recently I had a great difficulty to decide which foundation is good and affordable and something which I could use for a daily basis. Alas after a lot of research  and talking to like a billion people I finally found one base which I think is perfect for me on my current situations. 

Lets start with what is a foundation : Foundation is a skin-coloured makeup applied to the face to create an even, uniform colour to the complexion, to cover flaws and, sometimes, to change the natural skintone. Some foundations also function as a moisturizer, sunscreen, astringent or base layer for more complex cosmetics.

A foundations covers your basic face tone and if you wish to cover your under eye and blemishes, pimples more you add a concealer with it. But a foundation is definitely a must buy for any girl out there. For more even tone and brighter look for your face, for daily basis.

P.S:Do not forget to clean up your make- up by the end of the day, with a tissue, baby oil, coconut oil or any make- up remover. 

Phase 2: Which foundation: Foundations are a varied one but someone who wanted something affordable and an everyday use one. I will be giving you options from low to high . 

The most most important fact is to know your tone. It makes it easier to buy your foundation.Always go to a drug  store or make up store to select a few shades that seem close to your natural skin tone. Make sure to check it in natural light, since stores usually have fluorescent bulbs. Try the color on your jawline, not on your wrists and hands to check . As everyone has a different skin tone and type always try it on your skin for a day and come back and buy it. DO NOT HURRY TO BUY YOUR FOUNDATION. GIVE IT A DAYS TIME.

• Nykaa SKINgenius Sculpting & Hydrating Foundation :

Its Extremely lightweight base blends effortlessly onto skin to conceal imperfections. Its Long lasting, daily wear, for work parties etc..The 4 office-wear shades Rose Ivory, Beige Vanilla, Beige Caramel and Rose Honey. Price: 575 rs

Kaya Complexion Perfector Cream

• • Blurs imperfection and fine lines. It brightens and evens out skin tone,which smoothes and Hydrates the skin. Protects from harmful UVA / UVB rays (SPF 25) and free radicals. Price: 990rs

Last and my most favourite:

•                                          M.A.C Studio Fix Fluid SPF 15

 Long-wearing, 24 hours hours. It reduces appearance of pores.Controls oil and shine. Non-drying. For all skin types, especially oily skin For all skin types, especially oily skin.Provides stay-true colour .Non-streaking . Non-caking and Non-settling best thing that it looks perfect for photos. Price 2500. 

Its pricey but a one time buy and you can be assured to chill for like 2 years. Most recommended. 

How to apply a foundation base.

1. Apply to skin using a sponge or foundation brush.
2. Blend with fingers, sponge or brush.
3. Using fingers are the best way to blend the cream and its covers all the part evenly, give it time to set.
4. Before you apply the power.
5. Practice practice till you get to blend the right way. 
6.  Most important point, use 2 fingers and dab all the way, is the key.

Happy New Year <3

A new year, new pages to be filled. But before that. I want to THANK the year, which passed by.  Hate saying goodbyes, So I decided I will thank it and make, the new year a step ahead to more adventures up the store.

First of all I started blogging was the first step to the new change in my life, I started showing and doing things which I had never dreamt of, I thank you all, for your support and love. You  make me strong and am growing all causes of your love and blessings.

The new year, will be having a lot of fun opportunities, for all you Fashionista’s out there. More challenge for me, to make it better and improve with every love I get from you.

3. Always carry make-up essentials, like lipstick and deo, comb with you.
   Tissues also.
4. Don’t forget to also add Pepper Spray in your bag.  (Much handy today)
5. Before kissing, Please make sure you don’t smell bad. (Drink water, or just keep some mint in the bag too. To pop it up! )
6. Have loads and loads of fun, Be SAFE and be as Fashionable as you all want to be.

Disney MONOPOP by Satya paul!!

The last week was in for a surprise for me. Being a total cartoon person . As everyone know how much I adore these Disney characters and have all sorts of t-shirts possible.

Being a shoeholic..Just like Carrie Bradshaw..Managing shoes and keeping a count on them can just go out of hands.. But, for me I say Bring it on to shoes anytime. Be it a good day or a bad. It’s amazing how adidas has been able to maintain the legacy of Superstar all these years and also manages to fit in the street vibe from all across the world. Must have shoes/ heels in your Ambry!!

 

As a shopaholic and having a fetish for shoes I thought it’s a must to have  a post on the love of my life, Just like Carrie Bradshaw 🙂 Writing and shopping just goes hand in hand when you can express all that you feel. So here we go on today’s post..

Must have shoes/ heels in your closet!!

The flats– Flats are a must must have for all girls . They are the most comfortable pair of soles man has ever made. They can be worn anywhere, fits like a snug. These flats could be of any colour, shape. There are some flats which look good but can cause shoe-bites or make your feet rough. Beware of such!  These shouldn’t be too loose fitted also especially in the rainy season they might end up being slippery.

The stilettos: Being short can have it’s pros and cons but I must say it gave  a best opportunity to wear all types of heels. As what i recommend for a long day at work do get  2-3 inches ones, these will not be of any discomfort or pain. The animal print are the perfect example of a long day wear. These could be worn for a party too.

 

Wedges: I have given two options here. The blue strap one is a a commet il faut for my feet. I can wear these day or night. Picked these from Mumbai. The green and yellow were a random pick thanks to the neon era. But i must say love these too much. The are a little bold but if u carry them well, you have the world on your feet.

Pumps: The Silver ones are the cutest pair of shoes I have ever shopped. They are a perfect wear for a dinner or party. Can be teamed with almost anything. Makes you look cute yet sexy in its own way.

P.S: Do make sure that the sizes fit you well and remember your sizes. There can be a change in the size in different brands  so try them before buying. It can get a little difficult during sales. But do make sure your feet like the shoes your buying. After all Happy Feet make you feel happy all day 😀
