The Spectra Collection

chan chan chan .. The sound of the earrings.. Made me want to wear them and dance. The  colourful pom pom jumping  and turning around with me. The detail of every jhumka, anklet, necklace is so intricate and pretty. Made me fall in love with jewellery all over again.

Fact about it being colourful and quirky, is what my first attraction the the jewellery, they are very lively and make you want to get dressed for no reason.

My experience and what facilities I got:

I was given a Chocolate wax, for my arms and legs. All my dead skin, the tan, dirt was removed. The chocolate did wonders to the areas used. My skin has become softer and smooth. I was applied an Instant Glow mask,with nail pain and Blow dry. The facilities were chosen from all the three options given from above. The glow was instantly shown on my face, which was the best part. Did not have to wait for too long to see the shiny face.

Being it me first time at the lakme salon in my area, savoir-faire was really warm, welcoming. All of them had a smile on their face. The facilities given to me were just perfect for the type I was wanted for the Vday. Simple yet and classy. I thank Lakme Salon and the people behind it, to give me an amazing time. A girl’s gym bag must -haves!

All you lovely girls out there, I am sure all of you have this glitch of what to take when you go gymmmig. I always had an issue during my beginning days.

Here’s a list of things that I recommend you all to carry in your bag with style and start working out with a Bang!!

To start with you need a good and fun gym bag in which you will be adding in these items.

1. Water Bottle:

It’s very very important to stay hydrated during your workouts. Carry a water-bottle with you. There are a varieties of bottles you could carry a sleek or sporty ones which you get in Nike,Reebok brand like these. Do try to take warm water if you can.

 

 

2. Deodorant:

While working out all of us sweat but it doesn’t mean that we would be smelling bad. But always wear or carry you Deo will always help you be more confident while gymming and you would feel fresh also. You could try the Garnier Deo I use that while I gym. It’s long lasting and makes me cool.

3. Hair-ties:

It’s necessary that your hair stay in tact and are not a disturbance while you work out. Instead of a black band you could use some colourful bands like the neon ones or get those big bands to cover your top hair.

4.Sports Bra

The fit and getting  a proper shape is most important.The type i would recommend is a little tight like a jockey one. You get more varieties in these choose a size smaller if the jockey ones are too loose and saggy .

5. Face-wipes/Napkin/Towel:

Freshen your hands and face with these towels. The wet wipes give you an amazing push to work out more. Gear you up completely. Refreshing as I Say!

6.Yoga Leggings:

Comfortable clothes make your gymming experience even more fun. If your easy with what you wear you workout more and feel good about yourself. Yoga pants help your sweating to get grasped in those pants which gets a lot easier for any individual to not to worry about how they backside or legs look when they have worked out much .You can get Pants from Converse, Reebok, Nike to name a few..

Good pair of socks and T-shirt to tag along with the leggings.

7.Shampoo and Conditioner:

Well just to freshen up before you leave the Gym. Feeling like  a Lady.

8. Band-aids: Because you don’t want an excuse to skip your cardio, even if you have a blister or two.

Must have shoes/ heels in your Ambry!!

 

As a shopaholic and having a fetish for shoes I thought it’s a must to have  a post on the love of my life, Just like Carrie Bradshaw 🙂 Writing and shopping just goes hand in hand when you can express all that you feel. So here we go on today’s post..

Must have shoes/ heels in your closet!!

The flats– Flats are a must must have for all girls . They are the most comfortable pair of soles man has ever made. They can be worn anywhere, fits like a snug. These flats could be of any colour, shape. There are some flats which look good but can cause shoe-bites or make your feet rough. Beware of such!  These shouldn’t be too loose fitted also especially in the rainy season they might end up being slippery.

The stilettos: Being short can have it’s pros and cons but I must say it gave  a best opportunity to wear all types of heels. As what i recommend for a long day at work do get  2-3 inches ones, these will not be of any discomfort or pain. The animal print are the perfect example of a long day wear. These could be worn for a party too.

 

Wedges: I have given two options here. The blue strap one is a a commet il faut for my feet. I can wear these day or night. Picked these from Mumbai. The green and yellow were a random pick thanks to the neon era. But i must say love these too much. The are a little bold but if u carry them well, you have the world on your feet.

Pumps: The Silver ones are the cutest pair of shoes I have ever shopped. They are a perfect wear for a dinner or party. Can be teamed with almost anything. Makes you look cute yet sexy in its own way.

P.S: Do make sure that the sizes fit you well and remember your sizes. There can be a change in the size in different brands  so try them before buying. It can get a little difficult during sales. But do make sure your feet like the shoes your buying. After all Happy Feet make you feel happy all day 😀

1. Hairbrush/ Comb

It’s a definite yes yes in your bag. You can use it anytime to just set your hair and be ready to go.  You could always carry a foldable comb or a mini brush along for a quick fix anytime and anywhere!!

2. Lipbalm / Lipstick

Lipbalm / Lipstick are essential products which you should ideally carry along. This is mostly because our lips tend to get chapped easily due to the weather and nothing works better than this! Also this way your lips are always attractive!

 All of us don’t just want to look our best but also smell the best.. So make sure you carry along a deo or perfume just wen you feel your getting too sweaty.

The top priority product in every girl’s bag.

On the move tips !

These are a few tips which I recommend you all to try. It’s very
affordable and easy to do ..

 

1: The best way to dry your nails after applying your nail polish is to let them dry for a minute then keep your fingers in a bowl of cold water or in the running tap.

2: This one problem every girl faces during the summer heat even after washing your hair after every alternate day is that the hair gets oily thereby leaving you with a bad hair day. The best way to beat it is either you wear a cool head bands to make a statement or apply baby powder on your hairline and rub it well. Or you could tie your hair in a bun and add some accessories to it .

3: One trick I recently learned from a make up artist online was that applying the lip balm before applying your lipstick gives you a longer lasting effect. Or could apply powder or foundation in your lips and dab it with a baby tissue paper before applying the lipstick as it will keep your lips softer.

4: Another common problem with a solution is that our lips get dried really quickly after applying lipstick  at times apply vaseline or nivea cream before you apply the lipstick , the chapping will reduce gradually and will give you a long lasting soft lips .

5. Brush hair from roots to ends every night as it shifts the natural oils throughout the shaft and gets your hair way more healthier .

6.If you mascara gets smudged and your getting late for a quick dip a flat q-tip into your moisturizer and gently remove the smudge off your face or you could use a add powder dab  in on the smudged area and use the baby tissue to wipe it.

7. If your lipstick looks flat and too matte, you can apply a lip gloss  or you can apply a shimmery eye shadow at the center of your lips . Applying shiny eye shadow on top of your lipstick will make
your lips look fuller and the powdery texture of an eye shadow will
also significantly prolong the wear time.

8. Since you’re going to be shaking hands and mingling, drizzle some fragrance on your palm, the smell will stay in with you all night long.

9.  If you don’t have enough time for a full shaving session, just
apply baby oil onto your legs before you take the razor to them.

10.  Mix in a few drops of your perfume with fragrance free moisturizer and apply this on your skin. You’re going to smell extra nice and your fragrance will last longer!
