Menstrual hygenie is an important conversation not only women but everyone should be talking about. As if, you learn you pass it on to more people you meet. No women/ girl should go through any disease cause lack of information or knowledge about it.
A woman generates 125 kg of menstrual waste during her lifetime. It takes 500-800 years for a sanitary pad to decompose properly. Certainly, not many realised this for the longest. However, with the growing awareness and active knowledge shared there has been a newfound sense of responsibility in the society. The idea of using eco-friendly products has got its acceptance with the women and the same is being addressed by the new age entrepreneurs who are exploring the space to provide the society with natural and eco-friendly products for personal care.
steps to be hygienic :
- Change your sanitary napkin every 4-6 hours
- Wash yourself properly
- Don’t use soaps or vagina hygiene products
- Discard the sanitary napkin properly
- Stick to one method of sanitation
Here are some brands I know who have been tirelessly wanting to make a better world for women/ girls out there:
